Our Approach to Therapy

At The Stable Grounds, we look at the whole "you".  We understand that we are all unique human beings made up of a multitude of histories and experiences.  When we consider the best treatment approach for our guests, we take a holistic approach and look at the importance of nurturing your mind, strengthening  your body, and reinforcing your soul.  We also recognize the emotional distress that families of those with PTSI experience.

How do we do this?

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

  • We conduct a comprehensive Initial Assessment interview before you arrive, so we can understand your needs and shape your experience accordingly with us

UPON ARRIVAL & DURING YOUR STAY

  • Once you arrive you will participate in various options for therapy:

  • During your stay with us, you will have the opportunity to participate in various experiences that can help the healing process and that support your mind, body and soul through fitness & yoga, healthy meal plans & nutrition sessions, hands-on participation in farm life, and working with your hands in our workshop or garden.

AFTER PROGRAM CARE

  • Upon completion of the program,  after-treatment follow-up care is provided.
